Europe of Nations and Freedom (ENF; French: Europe des nations et des libertés, ENL) was a political group in the European Parliament launched on 15 June 2015. Please support this channel: Please visit our sponsor … The pre-existing conflicts helped shape the networks of alliances that formed between the newcomers and the Aboriginal peoples, and had a significant impact on colonial wars up to the end of the 17th Century. The European Parliament will soon go to polls on May 23-26 and will see new and powerful contest as the four European far-right nationalist parties have stated that they have formed a new coalition and have also asked other like-minded parties to contribute to the same by joining the alliance. The group, dubbed the European Alliance of Peoples and Nations (EAPN), has already attracted support from: Alternative for Germany (AfD) Austria's Freedom Party (FPÖ) The group was the smallest within the European Parliament during the eighth European Parliament term at just 37 members. Nelly Maes, a former Flemish MEP and President of EFA wrote, on the 25th anniversary of EFA’s birth, that it is a collection of ‘Free peoples who can experience their own identity as a nation, a region or language community who work together to create the democratic institutions that shape the European Union politically: that is the dream of the European Free Alliance.’
The largest faction in the group was the French National Rally with 17 MEPs.
